Whatever your body is craving, there is a class for you.  All classes are included in your membership, and all classes (except for Stronger) are appropriate for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. If you are recovering from injury, trying a class for the very first time, or have specific goals, please let your instructor know. She will guide you through everything you need.

Pilates

Reformer

Build strength, coordination, balance and control throughout your entire body. Using the reformer, you will be supported and extended through movements to work in new ways. Use the reformer carriage, straps and props to intensify moves.

Jumpboard

This class is super fun. Using a padded plate at the front of the reformer, it is like being on a trampoline while you’re lying down. This class is perfect for getting your heart rate up, while still being gentle on the joints and pelvic floor. You’ll also work whole body strength, balance and coordination.

Barre

Barre

Build your strength, posture, balance and flexibility in this intense, but low impact, workout. Barre mixes moves from ballet, pilates and yoga to workout your entire body. You’ll work hard, but have fun while doing it. Feel the burn, then see yourself getting stronger each week.

Bounce

Bounce (Rebounding)

 

This class is so much fun. Everyone gets their own mini trampoline (rebounder), and we bounce around to music. Because the trampolines provide a softer landing, this is a great workout for those who want high-intensity, but low impact for healthy joints.  Rebounding regularly, you can: increase your cardiovascular endurance and stamina, boost your lymphatic circulation and immune system function, improve your balance and coordination,  increase your bone density and reduces risk of osteoporosis, strengthen your muscles joints and pelvic floor, and more.

Small Group Personal Training

Strength

This is a whole body workout using weights to build your strength. This class is perfect to improve your posture and increase bone density. As a preventative measure regular strength training will lower your risks of osteoporosis and dementia. Every strength class is run by our expert trainers who will assist your technique and have you moving at your best. As with all our classes, if you are recovering from previous injuries, let us know and we can tailor the exercises especially for you. It feels so awesome to be strong.

Stronger (Advanced Strength)

If you have been attending Strength for at least 3 months, Stronger will take your strength to the next level. This is a slower paced class, focusing on technique, low repetitions and heavier lifts. You will do the same exercises every class to see your results build over time. Stronger is an effective complement to regular Strength classes.

This class requires you to have an existing knowledge of key lifting movements and postures. This is our only class that is not appropriate for beginners.
 

Circuit

If you only have time to come to one class a week, then this should be it. You’ll work all aspects of your fitness including: strength, cardio, posture, balance, and coordination. Exercise sets run for longer to allow you to settle into the movement. Your instructor will be there to help you perfect your technique and reach your strength and fitness goals.

Boxing

Get fit, and have fun. Boxing works your entire body, brain, and heart. This class is social and high energy. Beginners welcome.

Dance

Belly Dance

Belly dancing is a beautiful ancient art form from the Middle East. Using the pelvic and core muscles, it is a whole body workout while also embracing your female energy, creativity and confidence. Even better, it is low impact, so anyone can do it. No experience necessary, just an open mind and sense of fun.

Throwback Dance Party

Party like its 1990…. Relive the energy and fun of the 90s, with Stacey’s Throwback Dance Party. Think iconic dance moves and choreographies to your favourite songs. The class will be beginner-intermediate level with modifications given. Bring a sense of fun and love of the best musical decade – the 90s.

Yoga

Yin Yoga

Building up with a deep surrender into Yin yoga poses, deepening into your body. You’ll leave feeling balanced and relaxed – perfect for a good nights’ sleep.

Yin Yoga into Mediation

This class includes a whole hour of Yin Yoga, building up with a deep surrender into Yin yoga poses, deepening into your body.  It then finishes with a 15 minute, restorative, guided meditation.

Power Yoga

Dive into the energy of Power Yoga, building strength, flexibility, and endurance. In this dynamic class we will explore more advanced shapes, but still cater to all levels from beginners to advanced.  Power yoga much like a vinyasa-style class synchronises breath with movement; however in a power class we are more likely to hold poses for a longer count to build endurance and work specifically with muscle groups.  Through the synergy of breath and movement this practice warms the body and elevates the heart rate improving our cardiovascular system.  Our focus will shift weekly as we explore different shapes and sequences. This class aims to get you out of your head and into your body.

Stretch and Release

In this luscious self-massage class, you will use foam rollers, balls and straps to release tension throughout the whole body. Not only will you feel good straight afterwards, but long term this class will help to prevent injury, cleanse the lymphatic system, improve your posture and keep you moving to your maximum – essential for if you intensely exercise, or sit for long periods.
