Mahmoud Reda and the Reda Troupe are a huge part of the rich history and culture of Egyptian dance, let’s keep this legacy going!

What is Reda?

The Reda Troupe was the epitome of Egyptian Dance. Founded in the 1950s, Mahmoud Reda, his brother Ali, and his wife Farida Fahmy, travelled across Egypt to bring together the myriad of cultures and dance styles across Egypt.

Learning the dancers of each unique people, and recreating them for theatre, they brought the myriad of styles from across Egypt, to the stage to be enjoyed by all.

The Reda Troupe was regarded as a national treasure.
